REVIEW - Dead Reaper Walking (Liberty, Oakwood #2) by Mina Carter

Synopsis:

Underage witches, a breakout from demon prison and a new hellgate... What could go wrong?

Reaper extraordinaire, Laney Larson, is stuck in Liberty, Oakwood of all places, for two reasons. One, there's way more paranormal activity going on than normal for a little town like Liberty. And two, a sexy as hell cop called Troy.

So when the proverbial hits the fan and they get wind of a demon break-out from the third hell, a prison even the demon king himself won't set foot in, what's a reaper to do but strap on her blades and help track the escapee down? But then the creature takes her man, and all bets are off.

A reaper, a demon and a cop...will Death claim them all, or just one?

REVIEW:

This was a good read for me, because I felt kinda slumpy today and I really needed something fresh, fast and good to read.

It’s not a huge/complexe book and you can read it really fast, is really enjoyable and you can relate to all the characters. If you are a lover of supernatural or just action packed, full of suspense, interesting books then this is for you. I don’t want to talk too much because this novel is short, doesn’t have a complex plot and I don’t want to spoil it.

But if you need something cute, steamy, fast and short, with romance in it and some kick-ass moves, then read it. But don’t read this if you want something more deep, complexe, with well developed characters and plot. You can read this more like a novella or a really short novel.

But keep in mind – it’s short, but doesn’t mean is not good. Happy reading!
