Books that I read and loved in 2013

Planuiesc postul asta de la inceputul saptamanii trecute si tot nu sunt sigura care sunt cartile pe care le voi alege. N-as vrea sa fac un top sau sa le pun in ordine, pentru ca sunt din genuri diferite, cu subiecte diferite si nu as vrea sa "discriminez" :)). Voi alege doar acele carti care m-au impresionat fiind originale sau m-au emotionat, m-au facut sa ma gandesc sau sa meditez la anumite lucruri. Da, au fost foarte multe carti bune, placute, amuzante, interesante, insa nu le pot pune pe toate. Voi alege doar cele mai si foarte foarte. Asa ca nu incepeti cu "n-a numit seria aia!" sau "cum de nu i-a placut cartea x?".
Anul acesta am citit 219 carti. Nu planuiam sa citesc atatea, n-am citit din ambitie sa ating acest numar, ci am citit din placere. Mai ales ca mi-am propus sa citesc 50, apoi 100 si am tot crescut. Ma bucur de ce-am citit si sper ca si anul urmator sa fie la fel de bogat. Iar legat de ce voi alege, credeti-ma nici eu nu stiu:))) Repet, nu sunt in ordine, nu este top, doar asa le-am citit.

I'm planning this post from the beginning of last week and I'm not sure what are the books that I'll choose. I don't want to make a top or put them in order, because they are from different genres, with different subjects and I don't want to "discriminate" :)). I'll choose the books that impressed me being original or that made me feel so many emotions, made me think or meditate about some things. Yes, they were so many good books, lovely, funny, interesting, but I can't name all of them. I'll choose just the best books. So, don't start with "she didn't named that series!" or "How she didn't liked this?".
This year I read 219 books. I didn't planned to read so much, I dind't read by ambition to acheive this number, I read because I liked it. Especialy because first I wanted to read 50 books, then 100 and I wanted more. I'm glad for what I read and I hope that the next year would be the same. And speaking about what I'll choose, trust me I really don't know, but we'll see. I'll say again that they are not in order, is not a top, just like that I read them.

Synopsis:

Review:
I wanted to read this book just after I saw it, because everything from the cover, the title and especialy the synopsis sounded good, full of suspense, original and action packed. And with a strong female character. So, what whould I asked more? And today I read it.
Some people say that they didn't liked it so much because of the romance part and for the relationship between Wren and Callum, but I didn't have a problem with that. Yes, the romance is there, but for me it wasn't cheesy or cliche. And somehow with the help of that relationship and because of Callum Wren start to have feelings again. And I think this is a good thing, because you can't feel like a human if you don't talk and stay near one. These Reboots are like robots, dead people that woke up, without feelings, that fight and kill and listen to the HARC. The longer Reboots are dead, the less human they are when they return.
This book is different from the other dystopias, because for me was more like war, blood everywhere, no emotion, and kind of nobody wanted this to stop. Until Wren, 178, wanted to escape from this thing. Is kind of weird that people from inside want the thing to end, no? But would Wren escape? Would she change so much that the idea of working for the HARC, killing people, having a roof, food and clothes won't be now enough? Would Callum change her? Or she will remain the same, the good soldier, the emotionless one, the one who is having fun seeing newbies failing training and the one who hates the people screams?
Reboot was a really good book and with every page the story got better, and I wanted to know more, to find out more about Wren and how she's so special, and what is all the thing about HARC, and how the normal people could survive. Is really interesting how the Reboots are separated by the grade, let's say, or the number that they have, and how the all idea is put in practice. It was really cool to see such a society and if it wasn't kind of bad maybe I would made a visit there. :))
And after I read Reboot from what I heard I really didn't know what to think about Callum, I mean he's a 22, the slowest number, almost human. What this kid could know and do? But he's not so stupid. He's like a normal human, kind of a paria for the Reboots, but he's smart, and serious and hard working and helps Wren. I think these two are ok together, as friends and maybe more. But this after Callum learn to fight and stop to smile, and Wren stop getting angry on him and stop punching him :)))
So, guys, if you want to read something original, action packed, full of suspense, a dystopia story, with a strong female character, about friendship and love, and feelings and survivial then this is good. I'm sure you'll enjoy and like me you would wait for the sequel. Is really, really good! And if you want me to say more I was drowned in the story from the first line. First line, guys! Read it!
