Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Nu cred ca sunt prea multe de zis despre aceasta carte pentru ca descrierea deja dezvaluie nişte detalii esentiale si daca as incepe sa va mai povestesc si eu nu ştiu ce-ar mai ramane sa descoperiti voi. Insa vreau sa va spun ca a fost o lectura placuta, ca unele replici sau situatii te fac sa razi sau măcar sa chicotesti, ca uneori, chiar daca e dureros, poate ar fi mai bine sa facem sau sa spunem atunci unele lucruri si nu sa incercam sa le indreptam când e prea târziu si ne sufoca, venind din urma.
Daca ar fi sa spun ce mi-a placut cel mai mult la aceasta carte as zice personajele, pentru ca ideea in sine nu e nici foarte complicata si nici originala. Iar personajele sunt singurele care aduc un strop de altceva, replicile lor te fac sa fi atras de carte, sa citesti capitol dupa capitol. Deja ne-am obisnuit cu baietii din carti, grijulii, simpatici, glumeti si cu o picatura de rautate, iar daca mai au si un trecut nu tocmai dragut atunci arata ca o prajitura delicioasa. As zice ca nici Cam nu face exceptie si mi s-a parut demn de admirat cum a stat dupa Avery, de la inceput, a asteptat, fara s-o preseze, a ajutat-o chiar daca uneori ea era enervanta sau nu ştia ce vrea si a fost tare simpatic cu ouale lui *va las pe voi sa aflati la ce mă refer*. Despre Avery nu sunt multe de zis, e o tanara obisnuita, care a făcut greseli in trecut, din cauza ei, din cauza alor ei, din cauza anturajului si a lipsei de curaj când a fost pusa la zid. Insa când trecutul vine peste ea in prezent trebuie sa hotarasca ce sa facă, chiar daca ajunge in situatia in care e pusa la zid si tot nu vrea sa o infrunte.
Finalul a fost dragut si povestea s-a incheiat cu toate raspunsurile pe masa. N-am nimic de reprosat cartii si ratingul n-are de-a face cu faptul ca nu mi-a placut ceva, ci pentru ca mai mult de atât n-am pe ce sa-i dau. Actiunea nu-i foarte multa sau complexa, intriga e minima si cum am zis situatiile si replicile fac totul. E o poveste draguta de iubire, cu anumite situatii si un trecut relativ neplacut. Daca va plac genul acesta de carti v-o recomand.
